Previous Nairobi County Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe has found a lucrative activity with the Equity Bank, Kenya.
Igatha was designated the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), a position that will see him come back to the corporate world in style four months since his emotional aftermath with Nairobi County Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko.
Equity Bank is required to formally report the arrangement of Polycarp Igathe as the Chief Commercial Officer on Thursday, May 17, 2018.
As was shown in past reports by exposeke.com, Igathe ventured down on January 12, 2018 months after reports had risen of a conflict with his ex-manager, Sonko.
“Without dread, support or hostility I venture down to abstain from mishandling or selling out my promise of office to Kenyans, Nairobians and my family. Much thanks to you for the urging bolster given to me up until this point,” he said in his renunciation articulation shared on Twitter.
Igathe, who was chosen close by Sonko on a Jubilee Party ticket on August 8, 2017, turned into the primary appointee senator to leave office.
In his acquiescence letter, he mourned about disappointments by his supervisor whom he blamed for not giving him adequate space to play out his obligations as the delegate representative.
He said he had neglected to prevail upon Sonko’s trust regardless of a few endeavors. This left him with no other alternative yet to stop.
