2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 cup of warm water
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

  • Once the dough is done with, making the samosa is a straightforward and easy step in the process of making samosas.
  • In a bowl mix just ½ cup of flour with water to make a thick paste which will act as paste for filing samosa pockets
  • Now Fold the samosa pockets into a cone shape then fill them with either chicken, chilled beef, fish, or vegetables depending on the type of samosas that you intend to make.
  • Using the paste, seal them thoroughly to ensure that they do not open up while frying.
  • You can decide to cook the filled samosa pockets immediately or store in the refrigerator to be deeply fried later. If cooking immediately;
  • Heat oil in a frying pan
  • Once the oil is heated enough; dip in the filled samosa pockets ensuring that the oil is not too much heated because if the oil is overheated the samosas will cook only on the outside and not inside.
  • Deep fry the samosa until they turns golden brown and crispy on both the sides.
  • Use kitchen paper or a tidy towel to drain the excess oil
